River 128,685
In the meantime, in Israel everyone there, the people and the politicians, was anti Kamala because she's "progressive, bad for Israel, planning to stop sending weapons and funds, and she's pro Palestine" So the whole narrative that she's pro Israel doesn't make sense when the people who she's accused of blindly supporting hates her and didn't want her to win And not only that, Trump reversed so many anti Israel decisions that Biden did in the last few months of his administration that again, saying that he did nothing is also bullshit lol So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

Id love for you to provide the evidence that the loss of the national popular vote by the Democratic ticket is "largely because of the genocide". As someone with Politics degrees, I'm not sure I've ever come across a study of any election where academic consensus is that such a specific single issue decided the election - especially when the argument is that people voted for Trump over Harris because she supported Israel... That's what I'm saying, and the fact that anyone's impulse is to sneer at college students who had the bravery to protest on behalf of Palestinians is completely insane. Just going to point out that your infographic doesn't provide data on how the uncomitted primary voters voted in November so its just purely guess work on how they impacted November. But even if we assume all the primary uncommitted voters turned out for Harris in the end (and that all were uncomitted due to Gaza which is big stretch) the presidential election based just on these 4 states switching would be 270 to 270. A dead heat is decided by House. The House majority that certifies the 2024 election was Republican. So even these cherry picked statistics with a lot of heavy assumption based math still result in Harris losing. And do nothing to account for potential lost votes from taking a more anti-Israel stance. It just doesn't stand up to basic interrogation. She flat out told student protestors she wouldn't do what they were asking her to do, and then they got rounded up by police and beaten all across the country on college campuses. She didn't lose because of college students protesting the genocide she was funding. She lost because she refused to break away from Biden, who was one of the most unpopular presidents of all time and refused to endorse even the bare minimum on Palestine. She ran on unpopular positions, which cost her the election: Celebrating as college students get crushed under Trump and blaming them for Kamala's own loss is despicable. That's what I'm saying, and the fact that anyone's impulse is to sneer at college students who had the bravery to protest on behalf of Palestinians is completely insane. Why didn't you keep your sources? TheNationalDesk.Com and TheMiddleEastEye.Net? Are we afraid to admit that we are taking completely biased sources with completely skewed headlines? It's funny when people tell on themselves and admit that their information is ass. The source on a statement from TheMiddleEastEye.Net is literally a 3rd party source from TimesOfIsrael.com which is also a 3rd party source from MotherJones.Com which is also quoted from a third party and not a direct statement from the campaign. We can't be serious? Also, "we didn't vote for her because we cared about human rights and lives but knew it ran the risk of doing the exact same thing across the world" isn't the moral high horse you think it is. Congratulations, the people you seemed to so desperately wanted to defend are still being killed. And now legal residents of the US are being stalked and kidnapped, and possibly tortured and murdered in El Salvador. Humanitarian aid from across the world normally sent to The Middle East will be redirected to prop up crippled economies locally instead. We're the closest we've been to a World War in 80 years and you want to defend senseless and short sighted decisions. Give me a break.

When it came to the genocide, it was always “who is least worse” The US will ALWAYS support Israel in one way or another, I’m not sure why people think otherwise. It was always about harm reduction. Harris was better than Trump on EVERYTHING ELSE. The choice was the easiest in history.
