Michael has owned teslas since they started dating. There could be a number of reasons for this that have nothing to do with his personal politics. Granted he has enough money to walk away from some things he’s associated with but not everything. A lot of his net worth is tied up in philanthropic organizations and companies with Sean Parker. Who is not a staunch republican at all. He has donated to a few republican candidates in the past in various campaigns but he is not a Trump supporter. For all we know the car could have been free and he might have been a big stock holder before Elon went crazy.
