Hello! I had a sudden realisation today listening to ‘How bad do you want me’ that it sounds super similar to ‘only you’ by Yazoo! I wonder if it was intentional although the Abracadabra reference to Siouxsie and the banshees ‘Spellbound’ was noted and this isn’t, i guess because it’s not actually a sample ?
 

i havnt seen this mentioned on here or anywhere else so I thought it was worth mentioning because it’s interesting, apologies if this has already been discussed and I’ve just missed it!!

It definitely does, the vocal melodies/harmonies sound like a TV of this song

I can hear the similarities. 
 

The song has grown on me. 
 

I felt the into and first verse were a little too simple but I love the chorus. It initially reminded me of Demi Lovato “Heart Attack” but then this morning it reminded me of Jessica Simpson “With You.” I know they don’t sound alike but just something reminded me of it.

It’s grown on me too! It was my least favourite song on the album as all I could hear was Taylor swift but as it’s grown on me and I’ve now realised it sounds like Yazoo, it’s made me like it more and it’s drowning out the Taylor-ness for me
