Woman who married River issues statement on health of relationship 2 years on

A woman who married @River in 2023 says it's wedded bliss – apart from when she broke her leg swimming in it.

Megan Trump from Bristol, appeared on Thursday's episode of This Morning to discuss her unique relationship.

Her  ’wedding’ included a traditional dress, guests and vows.
'People say it was the best days of their lives and it was definitely was for me.'

Megan told how she had an 'incredible celebrant' at her wedding: 'She does funerals, mostly. This was her first wedding and she told me afterwards that she has never cried at any ceremony she has done for or since. But she cried on my wedding day. 'It got all of us. Looking out at the audience everyone was weeping.'

When asked about jealousy when it comes to their relationship, the activist clarified: 'It's a very open relationship.

'I'm spending a lot of time with other rivers, but I think that's OK. They are all one. But it's a pretty fluid and open relationship.

'I know I'm dressed in green right now but I don't often get jealous. I love going to the river and seeing lots of people enjoy being by the river. 

'I've been on tour recently and I've been swimming in a lot of other rivers. And I don't think that they're jealous either.'

Megan uses her marriage as a crusade to combat water pollution and elevate public consciousness about this critical issue. 
'I don't think I'm the first person to fall in love with a river and I don't think I'll be the last. I really hope the rivers will be alive and well in the future,' she added.

Megan also said her and her "darling" keep their romance alive and have "never been happier".
"We're still in the honeymoon period and I'm still pretty obsessed with the river.
"I wake up thinking about the river, my life's quite shaped by the river, I'm always thinking about when I can next spend time with the river.
"I call the river my muse - it gives me life, gives me energy, keeps me afloat and tells me not to rush too much."

I watched it.

I think she's poetical, like her mariage is not about some attractions or romantical feelings but more about a spiritual connexion with the nature and a desire to protect it. She's pretty tho.
