It's just a pure tribal thing now. They'll vote Republican no matter what. Most independents aren't "gettable" for either side. They're just quiet conservatives/liberals but aren't willing to put the D or R next to their name for whatever reason. Democrats are poised to take the House if this trend continues. On top of the fact historically the party in power usually loses the House after two years after the president comes into power. I think so yes. Voters right now are MAD that their dem leadership hasn’t been vocal enough against Trump. Chuck Schumer had to cancel his book tour over “safety concerns” because people were livid he voted for the house bill that’s going to gut social security and Medicaid.
