Megan Thee Stallion’s Coachella set cut off

Megan Thee Stallion brought girl power to her invigorating Coachella set on Sunday night, enlisting Queen Latifah, Victoria Monét and Ciara to duet and perform their own hits during her finely-tuned show.
 

She started right on time, and as the show hit 9:25 p.m. PT, she transitioned into “Mamushi,” her massive TikTok hit. Only, her mic cut off, leaving her to bow with her team and bid farewell to the audience, merely five minutes after the scheduled end time.  Earlier in the show, some of her outfit changes seemed to slow the pace. The sound was instantly cut from the stage but Thee Stallion continued to dance her heart out before having to leave in silence.

Coachella has historically been strict about set times, and earlier on Sunday, Nigerian artist Rema faced his own issues over on the Mojave stage after appearing 30 minutes into his 45-minute set. Organizers appeared to let him perform five minutes past the end of the show, but he stated that they had informed him to wrap it up. source

I was watching and thought was a weird way to end but it makes since there were timing issues. 
 

I popped on and watched a little of Post Malone and one of the comments said “you guys cut off Megan for THIS?!” lol.

I get why its cut. She needs to be respectful as well to other artists and not eat up other's preparation time.

I was there. It was cutoff because she went over time. It was 9:28 and her time-slot was suppose to end 9:25.

I mean at a festival you have to be strict. A delay can snowball throughout all the various sets. It's such a finely balanced production

Yeah, good that they cut it short, if you give everybody 10 minutes extra everything is pushed back 
Also good for her to learn to be punctual haha

Yea Megan should have been the headliner that night. She slayed hard. I skipped Post Malone. I don’t care for him.
