So all 18 queens would've had to prep for both stages of the season. Now I just kinda feel bad for him as a person if that's the only way he knows how to act when he doesn't get his way, especially when a legit friend is talking about their own hardships. Idk. Mistress is an odd one and I'm not inclined to waste a lot more thought on this beyond this post. As far as the potentially incoming "good TV" argument, Aja said it best when she said Mistress made herself look small. If MIB was really the villainous mastermind people want to think she is, she wouldn't have let herself get the delusional next-going-home edit that she actually gave herself. She should've leaned into the meta thing she did when she congratulated Ginger. "It doesn't matter how good I did, I'm probably going home next" but I don't think her ego would allow that. mhmm it's like she forgot that at the end of the day production is going to do what they want. it's not her show they just let her show her ass for a little bit to get online chatter and ratings. and to be clear, sometimes it was a gag but others it was like man they're letting you make yourself look foolish which is a shame because she herself is a very talented queen! I didn't like much of what she brought this time around (though that white look last week for the lip sync was amazing), but she has a lot of genuine greatness in her so it's a shame she didn't let herself evolve enough to really seize a spot organically rather than by brute force 2 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

weed 73,752 Posted July 11 Share Posted July 11 Thought it was a great episode, many great talents. Perhaps recency bias but thought it was one of the best/better talent shows we've had. Bosco ate, Daya ate mostly, Irene did great, Ginger did good, Jorgeous good, Lydia bad, Mistress okay, Aja okay Lovely runways overall, Bosco, Daya mwah so good. Loved Jorgeous dress but kinda messy, same w Mistress great core pieces but made tacky. Maybe the best Ginger ever looked, slay for her. Lip sync was kind of all over the place for me, I feel like they need better direction and editing for lip syncs beyond fairness/showing queens equally. 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
