Like we know Stadiums were booked so maybe that “choosing arenas” excuse was just that, and excuse. But if true, then these festival/stadium shows were conceptualized for that specific setting. Exactly my thoughts, I wonder if the arena thing was just an excuse in which case I guess we will find out on July 16th when the mayhem ball officially starts in Vegas right? She is literally standing on it only once, and other then that she has dancers on it. And the CBT at least had good visuals and interludes, which I am missing a bit here. I completely love the set tho, and I get why she has less of visuals - it is a much more theatrical show, as BTWB was and same thing happened. So I like that. The only thing missing for me is a more elaborated catwalk/secondary stage, I've got to admit that since the JWT it seems like she stopped putting too much into it. Its crazy how BTWB had like 14 different props and then everything else has none. She could easily add some inflatable trees to resemble a garden of thorns to merge with the Opera House during Garden of EDEN, Maybe add broken ceiling pieces to compliment the circular screen above her during Perfect Celebrity (and i'd be even cooler to have actual dancers strapped onto this like if they were clones), add camera flashes during Paparazzi...idk. I love the show and the the Opera House is beyond beautiful when you see it in its full glory, but there's still potential to push.
