But I don't think the general public has realized how much more they will be paying in 1-2 months when the full effects of tariffs kick in. That's a good idea if you want to get along with your neighbors. Personally I think the situation for America and the world really stinks, and I'm really afraid we will be in a deep recession, even a global recession. And I'm afraid we are making enemies of countries that had considered us as friends until now. As I posted a few days ago, my feelings about where America is heading is expressed very well by this song: I live outside the space time continuum. Bc the entire world is just hesitating between busting out of laughter and being genuinly scared were scared AF but we cant do sht he has control of every branch of govt, event the supreme court is stacked right. he fails to see that moving manufacturing here from overseas is just not feasible, labor is too expensive here and we do not have the natural resources we need to make everything in the US. i feel like its gonna get bad for a few months and he will be forced to rescind the tariffs. the china one will hurt a lot. its sad how one mad can create so much chaos, and that so many uneducated folks support him in this country. on top of that hes taking away rights from vulnerable groups, so its just a horrific time to be an american citizen. hes literally putin in the making, and his claims that he wants to run for a third term is so damaging to our democracy its not even funny.
