Perry’s pop hits have sold in their millions and streamed in their billions, and her singles ‘Firework,’ ‘California Girls, ‘Teenage Dream’, and more have contributed to her being the highest-selling female artist in Capitol Records’ history. The American pop-singer follows a long list of legendary acts to have headlined at the F1 Abu Dhabi GP, including Sir Paul McCartney, Muse, Foo Fighters, Beyonce, Rihanna, Aerosmith and Prince. Katy got more cause she did it for the whole album including on a woman empowering anthem. 😳 Doja only stopped getting this backlash once she said that she didn't want to work with him and he was still forcefully added on her new credits because she signed on his label in early 2014 before the Kesha lawsuit even started. This take is not it. Everyone and their mother had performed in the UAE, including Gaga (artRAVE at Meydan Racecourse). I've attended the after race concerts in 2017, they're really well organized and it was great fun. Her catalog of hits will work for such a diverse audience.
