ElectricChapelR 2,101
After MAYHEM (which I absolutely love), I came back to Harlequin and gosh... I cannot believe we're witnessing such a great star. Her jazzy voice is really her best. 🎶why do birds suddenly appear everytime you are near 🎶 Edited Monday at 07:16 PM by ElectricChapelR 2 4 15

Louvre 1,882
The production and arrangements on this album are otherworldly. So overwhelmingly creative. I also love the soul music incorporations on Gonna Build a Mountain and Oh the saints. I would love if gaga gave us another album like this. By far her best Jazz/ traditional pop album. Would also love if she wrote an album full of original jazz/soul/theatrical music. The more time that passes, the more I love this album. 4
eifulien 2,902
It is an amazing record. Tbh, as a fanbase we're a bit weird. I don't expect us to go batsh*t insane on her new releases like Taylor Swift fans but I vividly remember a significant portion of users here were super dismissive about it and were like "yeah tried listening, gave up by the 3rd track". And then others were surprised by its charting position... And in spite of its performance it remains a great collection of beautiful renditions. Very few artists can handle covering so masterfully other people's songs. Hell, the average pop star struggles to match their own studio versions and here we have Gaga bringing true jewels from past times and performing them extraordinarily. Also, Happy Mistake is her best ballad, fight me. 3
Lucas 25,594
I'm not a big fan of the album since jazz isn't my cup of tea but Happy Mistake and Close To You are masterpieces and I'm still listening to these 2 songs on a regular basis
princedeeblebleble 1,201
I feel like Harlequin was kind of an important stepping stone for her to come to Mayhem. She really tested and played with her vocals to then bring that impromptu unhinged nature to a pop album.

Expand Honestly I think a lot of people (myself included) were expecting more Joker like songs considering the artwork and when Good morning started they (myself included) were totally turned off by the campy jazziness of it all But ignoring Good morning and Get happy, its truly a fantastic album with beautiful arrangements and top tier vocals.

REALITY 75,199
It's a fantastic album and one of my favorites from her. The production and her vocal delivery are insane, and I'm so glad she made it; it was the one good thing to come out of the Joker 2 era. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
