He’s moved on from Canada and now it’s the EU which has been ripping him off. I say him because it’s all personal to him. No one else is experiencing what he’s experiencing.

I don't think Trump will be President this time next year. I think his own side will turn on him, the guys with the money first of all. Then they'll make his base turn against him by setting up some reality tv style gotcha story where they reveal that he has actually been an undercover lib all along. Fox presenters will push the story in sombre tones, maybe even fighting back the tears, and his base will lap it up because they live for the drama and their collective IQ barely clambers into three figures.

I genuinely believe that this will happen (although I do acknowledge that in reality it will probably just turn out to be the latest Trumpian thing that I'm wrong about).

awful people are in power all over the world. the wealth in the US is very concentrated, as long as he "gets his sht together" and keeps this small number of people happy, he can stay in power as long as he wants to. a lot of americans are incredible naive and simple minded, they voted for him and are keeping quiet right now. i also don't really believe all the danger comes from him. Donald is the fat child at the birthday party who never heard "no" and runs through the living room (basically Dudley), but his entire administration lets him run wild because they might not like the way he's doing it, but they certainly share the right extremist/nationalistic views people assign to Donald (although i don't even believe he has that many strong ideologies by himself, he just likes the reaction when he says dumb stuff).
