DWAS hits 10 million likes on YouTube

It wasn't long ago that DWAS became Gaga's most liked video ever, beating out Bad Romance with 9.6 million likes. As predicted, she's now hit that elusive 10 million right on schedule. So many artists have hit that milestone 8 figure mark but Gaga was sadly underrated in that regard, although Bad Romance was clearly going to hit that soon enough, but it would still be months before that happened (and hopefully, Shallow one day as well!) So, celebrate this overdue achievement in Gaga's career and leave a like if you haven't already. 11 million, here we come!

I said this in another thread...but can we make a megathread of all accomplishments by DWAS? This song has become such a champion, i dont know if the majority of fans really gets it

Honestly, I don't really think it's hate. The song is beautiful, no point in denying it. The dismissal may come from our fanbase powerlessness in deciding which songs are Gaga's "Best of" and I understand the feeling.

Like, the fanbase was shaped from making Just Dance and Poker Face the hits they are. I guess Bad Romance's success cannot be attributed to LMs solely but it was a part of that initial wave where the GP kinda trusted Gaga and LMs. I mean, today a song like BTW feels almost impossible as a hit, maybe because of the political climate but it just shows that the fanbase is kinda stuck and the GP took over the reins when it comes to deciding what will be a hit from Gaga. Who would've thought back in 2011-13 that Gaga would be known later more for songs like Shallow, ARUTW, DWAS, MR, Hold My Hand instead of Poker Face, Just Dance, BTW. We wanted Disease and Abracadabra, the GP decided it was going to be DWAS. At this point from her early hits, only BR is safe. And yeah, we as a fanbase, low-key hate that people are starting to associate Gaga with Adele-esque songs more than the iconic one-of-a-kind storm that was her career during TF-TFM-BTW.

I strongly believe if the verses were swapped so Gaga sang at the beginning instead of Bruno there would be waaay less meltdowns.   Some fans take things too seriously. #StopTheDramaStartTheMusic

Thats how i feel about The Beast. Everyone says its meh but I frekin love it. Its in my top 5 in the album!
