Good luck selling out that tour she speaks of. :river: And "JLovers?" Was "J-Lo's Hoes" too controversial? :giggle: I thought an "international tour" would involve more than one country as well. She isn't even big in Spain, as her lack of previous dates there would imply. Only acts BELOVED by Spaniards can sell out that many dates in Spain. Even the biggest names can't tour extensively over there. It's like she wants this tour to be cancelled just like the last one.

She's going to tour on medium to small cities in my country :billie: (except for BCN and Bilbao)

Pontevedra and Cádiz are SO random... Girl...

Like... There are national artists in Spain who are doing stadium tours here and are not as "big" as her... Yikes

She's not even going to the capital, so weird. What's even stranger is that Cadiz and Malaga are in the same municipality, they should be more spread out. I've literally never heard of any American act, Spanish speaking or not, booking those regions for tour stops. The only people I think could sell out that many dates in such obscure places are Shakira and Enrique. Even the likes of Madonna, who Spain has always loved, just does 2 cities at most when she tours Spain. Even massive tours like Taylor's could only do 2 stadium dates in one city. Coldplay were the big exception that did 4 stadium dates in Barcelona, but that tour was a complete outlier. She's never toured big in Spain. In her previous tours, she literally did only one date there each time and not to big crowds either. What makes her think she can suddenly do arenas and stadiums all over the country?

Agreed. The only artist I can remember of doing something similar was Luis Fonsi (but he ain't considered an american act as you said)

I don't know... A so alleged Hollywood star doing a fckn show in Cádiz like 😭 what is this

Not a hater tho, but once again... so random

Yeah, they have to be an act from an actual Spanish speaking country to do well. J-Lo may originally be from Puerto Rico but she's mostly lived in America all her life and mostly sings in English, so is considered American. Even Bad Bunny, who's the biggest Spanish speaking rapper in the world right now and is very popular in Spain, has only toured there once (and he did more obscure places too, but it was just once). I mean, I get it, as a Brit, so many of us go to Spain on holiday and go to party towns like Marbella, Benidorm and party islands like Ibiza, Tenerife and Magaluf. Places like that may well be where people want to hear party music that J-Lo provides. But the thing is...Brits aren't into her. We'll jam to On The Floor if it comes on at a club or party but we wouldn't pay to actually watch her live (hence why she only did one date in London last time she came here and her Manchester show got cancelled). Yet these locations are actually aimed at us. Only tourists in Spain would remotely be interested but not locals.

And by the way, it's so crazy to see mentions of Andalusia, Cadiz, Malaga and Murcia here. I went to all these places (as well as Almeria, Granada and more) in the space of one night when I had to go to a wedding in Malaga and our flight got cancelled because of an ash cloud. We had to be put on a flight to Murcia and then hitched our way to Malaga through taxis and an overnight bus, seeing more of Spain than I ever thought! To see the places on my unexpected tour pop up on J-Lo's tour schedule and GGD posts is so nostalgic!
