hELXIG 42,498
**** I'm just now realising if she announces Australian dates and no NZ dates (which is extremely likely) I don't have anyone to fly to Australia with I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
HeavyCapiLover 3,328
I think that she's doing a hybrid tour with a majority of shows in arenas, and at the same time some exclusive stadium shows and huge events such as rio and coachella, to meet both the very high demand globally, and her wish to put on a show that would specifically be more adapted in smaller venues. I just hope that she will be able to hold that crazy run when touring Europe and North America.

I own a home and have a mortgage now, I can't just be hopping around the world spending thousands just to see one artist in concert. Many of us have bills, mortgages, children, commitments. I just feel too old and too tired now to get on planes all alone to other countries and stay in hostels with young people and wait in line for 5 hours. I'm just ranting about my situation I guess. It's just not fair that tickets are 5x what they used to be and for NO reason other than extorting more money out of us. During a recession might I add. Dynamic pricing actually makes me so mad. Idk why other people aren't outraged. Idk why people aren't rioting I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
He8MyHeart 9,596
I'll believe it when I see it. I have Singapore tickets but nothing would beat seeing her in Sydney again.

But Stadium Tours are really not that great (and usually way overpriced). And people are being so dramatic, more tickets will crop up eventually ... Venues always keep massive amounts of tickets in reserve. Only the Eras tour was actually impossible to get in if you missed the pre-sale/onsale. I remember for the JWT and Artrave tour you could get front row seats the week before the event at normal, non-inflated prices, and that was back when Gaga was at the height of her popularity... For me it's the price. At least with CBT I got PIT tickets for $600/each and it was a 3 hour drive each way. For Mayhem, I'd have to fly with a layover (so 6 hours of travel each way) to Miami or drive 2 1/2 hrs and fly direct for 2 hrs (5 1/2 hours) to New York. And I'd pay at least $200 for upper bowl seats for Miami and even more in New York. I obviously wouldn't be able to fly home directly after the show and get a hotel room. And I'd pay for an Uber or subway ticket too. So $200+ for trash seats, $300+ for a plane ticket, $120+ for a hotel room, and another $20-$50 for Uber/subway tickets. On top of that I'd need to ask somebody back home to drop me off at the airport or pay another $40 to park my car at the airport. I'd be paying $700 to not actually see anything. And this is all considering I even would get to go on a date that doesn't have work the day of or the day after unless I were to use PTO. So really it's multiple things. It's accessing tickets in the first place. It's the price of the tickets and associated travel. And I understand she can't/doesn't want to do 90+ stops for her tour, but like where anywhere is the accessibility? How are you going to do 30ish arena shows at stadium profit levels in like 6 states in the US? Why continue to add more shows to the same cities when you could at least hit GA, SC, or MI where airlines have hubs to limit travel time? She literally booked one of her few cities in the Southeastern most point of the country.

That account posted the additional dates that were announced due to demand before they were revealed. And not just “there will be dates added” type of general info, they posted the EXACT date(s) for each city one by one. You can’t be fake and correctly predict 10 specific dates. If you look at the tweet they got some additional dates wrong though. My comments below from their tweet YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST! Lady Gaga is set to announce additional dates for the MAYHEM Ball Tour next week, depending on demand: • 08/25: New York, NY 🇺🇸 Wrong, she added 26-27 • 09/02: Miami, FL 🇺🇸 Wrong, she added 3rd Sept • 09/09: Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 Wrong, she added 13th Sept • 10/04: London, UK 🇬🇧 They were right about this one • 10/06: Manchester, UK 🇬🇧 Wrong, she added 8th October instead • 10/15: Stockholm, Sweden 🇸🇪 They were right • 10/31: Barcelona, Spain 🇪🇸 They were right • 11/22 : Paris, France 🇫🇷 They were right

It's just that in the past it always felt like 'well things are bad but at least I can look forward to this concert'. People have always turned to entertainment and events for solace and comfort in a messed up world, but It's like we have nothing anymore and are getting priced out of every escape and small joy in life I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.
