****ing awful

I was only 500 in the queue and the tickets were still flying from the shelves

this comment is why i am starting to believe what my mother told me.  that the scalpers buying the tickets to resell are "professionals".  with more than one phone number, account, and device.  there's no way tickets were flying off the shelves the way they were if these people were doing it on one laptop or phone.

rip carl grimes you would've loved mayhem by lady gaga ♡

The vegas show was done through AXS. I did the first day Citi presale and I am not sure what I was in line but I got in 20 mins after. The tickets I would try to press and it said unavailable but I notice every minute or so it would refresh itself and random tickets would appear I tried clicking some and it wouldn't let me. eventually it told me I was a bot so I had to clear my cache and log in again. I kept trying and eventually I notice the tickets would become less and less after it refreshed. eventually I got a no tickets available message but I actually still waited and it would refresh and the message would go away and a random ticket appear. I did see a lot of tickets out of my price range or overpriced tickets I just ignored them. about 4 or 5 hours later I kept opening the site just in case. and then randomly all the sections turned blue. about a few seconds later a ton of regular priced tickets appeared. I grabbed lower bowl tickets for cheap as soon as I could!

but the drama at least didn't stop there because my laptop literally died in the middle of me typing in my card! luckily when I plugged it in right away my MacBook saved everything and I checked out but then I got an error and I realized my card flagged it as fraud. I quickly sent a text back and it let me finally check out! so I did get my lower bowl cheap tickets but it wasn't easy.

Oh ticketmaster is 100% in on it. Less than zero chance a random fan can buy and resell  tickets at the exact moment they go on sale let alone almost a  full arena worth.  Don't forget all the tickets being sold on sites like stub hub long before they go on sale. Rest assured these "fans" reselling them already have the tickets well in advance. It's all such a BS scam and as long as the Live Nation/Ticketmaster monopoly continues and artist choose to take part (and don't fool yourself every single one of them have the option not to) expect more of the same but worse.

Concerts are not  for fans. It's for Live Nation, Ticketmaster and performers etc...to make as much $ as they can with no shame.

I live in Berlin but don't have Telekom, so that pre-sale was compromised for me. I asked a friend who has a Mastercard to get me a ticket at the Lyon pre-sale. He was unlucky like a lot of people, there were only VIP tickets left so he got me one.

The day after, I read on GGD that a lot of people saw new tickets appear hours later and it was easier to grab. So I checked the website out of curiosity and saw a GC ticket they was available! I texted him but he saw it to late. Then he texted me 10min later telling me he got one! Emotional rollercoaster :bradley:

I still tried to get tickets for Berlin instead on the general sale, with no luck... I'm so lucky my friend decided to check the website right when the ticket was available :saladga:

Well, I got none :)

Both the Mastercard presale and the general sale was on while I was abroad with my boyfriend and I wouldn't want to waste all his day.....He helped me tho, we tried the presale for Milan with 2 phones and an IPad and there were a 200k queue.....you get this right..200k....We tried tried and tried but it was really impossible, we tried EVEN during the day while we visited London but it showed an error message everytime. We tried again for the general presale with a friend from home, so we had 6 phones 3 laptops and 1 Ipad, obviously ANYONE got nothing. The ticket assistent will constantly pop up while choosing tickets with a 2:50 minutes countdown for checking if the tickets that I selected were real or not.....I tried all day but  nothing. I feel really bad because everyone seems to get something beside me :ally: it's absurd there is no 3rd Italian date with a demand THAT high, the venue is booked the next day but not the days before so she actually could. This is my first time when I try and I get nothing, I always got something from BTW to artRAVE to Joanne so this is really a defeat for me :cryga: anyway, I remember that both for artRAVE and Joanne random tickets would showed up in time so let's hope for the best :ally:

I got very lucky.

I joined the presale for Miami and was like one of the first people in. Had my tickets within two or three minutes :rip:

Then a few hours later I was able to get on almost immediately and grab an extra seat for Chica for less than $200 at the same show.

The amount of money I had to spend is complete bullsh*t but what can you do :huntyga:

i'm going to miami night 3. i feel extremely lucky that she's coming to florida considering how few us cities are on the tour. do you live in fl as well, or will you be traveling to attend?

It was mayhem. I am a Verizon member so I got access to the tickets in addition to the artist presale. TBH the presale tickets were either really good seats or really bad seats. That was disappointing. I was 28,228 in line for Chicago. That was a bust. But it was fine. I knew the general onsale would have ALL tickets available.

I logged into Ticketmaster at about 9am local time and onsale was 10am local time. Chicago tickets oddly enough were onsale at 12pm local time rather than 10am. So I just joined the queue for New York September 7th for s***s and giggles just to see what the remaining tickets would be priced at. I was 550 in line. That was awesome news! I noticed that Verizon had “select seats” so I unlocked those and I found lower bowl row 11 for $388. I couldn’t believe they were that cheap, considering the general price for that section, that row were being priced at around $650. I selected them and …. I GOT THEM!! this was literally 5 minutes into the general sale. I can’t be more happy! Funny, I had a fortune cookie tell me a day before I got the tickets that I would be showered with luck before my next birthday. I’m going to see Gaga in New York for my birthday now and I’m sooooo happy!

so all in all, chaotic but worth it in the end.

Well, I made out ok but there was a moment I thought I wasn’t going.  I can easily get to NYC which becomes a day trip so I definitely wanted the Saturday night show.  Now, you have to remember  I’m trying to get tickets against people who live in NYC, the suburbs of NYC, North Jersey, South Jersey, Washington D.C., Connecticut-you name it - I knew it was going to be tough.

I have a Citibank card, so I tried the first pre-sale. Took a good 40 minutes in the queue until I could search for tickets.  The only seats that were available were over $700+ - way in the back.  Totally not worth the trip/effort going to NYC to watch screens and lights even if the those seats were lower priced.  I figured I might be priced out this time if the better seats were even more (and going to be more in the next sale).

I didn’t panic buy, and told myself to just wait even though I saw these seats going fast.  I decided to play the game.  If I had to wait until the week of to buy them so be it - as bad as I wanted to just get them I could see they were releasing tickets in batches and using dynamic pricing.

I checked frequently throughout the day and caught a ticket drop filled with lower level and floor seats all over - call priced more on par with what they should be.  I quickly picked what I thought was the closest, best seat since I had many options (that were quickly going).  I found an amazing seat and grabbed it fast before anyone else took it.  I made out great considering the stories I’ve been reading.  Yes, I paid just under $500 but I’m extremely close and feel that’s just the going rate now for extremely popular artists.  I’m not ok with these prices for seats in the back but for a good/great seat - unfortunately this is the norm now.  Talk about Mayhem though!

Awful, I didn't get any tickets. I feel like ticketmaster themselves have resellers that book tickets in bulk just to resell them. As long as they know thousands of people are in queue, it means people are okay to pay extra..

So I won't get to attend the show :noparty:

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.
