How was your experience? (Mayhem tickets)

Hi y'all. I know it's been a rough week for a lot of people who didn't get the chance to buy tickets for the Mayhem Ball. The whole dynamic pricing and the smaller venues made everything literally mayhem. Now, I'm curious to know how everyone's experience was getting tickets.

On my side, it was very stressful for a variety of reason. I live in Ireland, close to Dublin, and she hasn't been to Ireland since the artRAVE in 2014, so my hopes weren't already very high when we knew it was going to be an arenas tour rather than stadiums. I'm originally from Venezuela, and I've never had real chances to see Gaga (I moved to Ireland in late 2021, the Chromatica Ball in London was already sold out by the time I had enough money for a ticket).

I was on vacation in Nice when the presales and all started, and my flight back was on the same day and nearly same time as the general sale, so I knew it was going to be tight. Though I had access to the Priceless Mastercard thing, they didn't have a presale for the UK. I was aiming for Manchester as flights and hotels are a lot cheaper compared to London, and it's only 1 hour flight for me. I had Ticketmaster open two hours prior to the sale, and I was constantly refreshing, and when the lobby was opened, I joined but surprise surprise, Ticketmaster all of the sudden told me that my password needed to be reset. Since I was outside Ireland, the SMS took longer than expected, and by the time I updated my password, 7 minutes had passed. I was number 11,518 in the queue for Manchester night 1. I asked my cousins to join other queues and there were already over 100k people in Belgium, Sweden, France, etc. I was doing the math, the Co-op Live in Manchester has a maximum capacity of 18k people, so if 5k tickets were sold during presales and everyone in front of me got at least 2 tickets, it was over. Still, I stayed in the queue for 1 hour and 50 minutes. By the time I got in, I had only 40 minutes left for my flight and I hadn't passed security yet.

When it was finally my turn, there were only 4 tickets for resale, and I tried to click on them but as soon as I did, Ticketmaster said there were no longer available. I saw the map again and it was all grey. I was so upset, because I knew if I hadn't had the issue with the password, I would've been able to buy tickets. Defeated, I passed security and while I was waiting for my turn, I had an idea, the Priceless Mastercard had "preferred tickets". I logged into their website and I was back on Ticketmaster, and guess what, there were around 50 tickets available spread across multiple sections. I wanted to be standing, but at that point I was happy just being inside the venue, so I saw two tickets in the lower tier, for 200 euros and I got them straight away. I passed security and had to run to my gate, I was nearly the last one to board.

My husband And I both entered the queue, luckily he was placed in a good place so after 20 min we were out of the queue

But then the website crushed every second, it took us 1 hour to finally move on the the cashout, but then the site crushed again, 10 minutes more of refreshing, finally we could type the CC number and pay

was a disaster, such an incompetent website.

worst customer experience i had in a while

Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass

Tell me about it, at some point I was 6639 in the queue for like 20 minutes :duck: when I got tickets for Taylor and Coldplay it was not this messy

Terrible, honestly the worst ticket-buying experience I’ve ever had.

9000 in line despite being logged in and ready a half hour in advance.

I waited for a half hour, finally got to under 1000, and got a notification that there are no more tickets available. When it finally let me enter, I kept my screen open for 15 minutes or so, hoping something may pop up. Every time tickets would show up, they were $900+ and were gone within seconds.

Eventually I gave up and looked at SeatGeek where I got nosebleeds for over $200. Thank god I did, two days later and seats in the same section are now over $400. Absolutely insane, the entire ticket market is broken and just abysmal.

Edit: for reference, the nosebleed tickets for the show cost more than my lower bowl artRAVE tickets that got me right next to the piano

My experience was a nightmare. I was around number 9,000 in the queue for Berlin and around 39,000 for Paris. If I’m calculating correctly, that should’ve easily been enough. Since it wasn’t, I assume some people bought multiple tickets or a large number of tickets were sold during the presale.

But what I really don’t get—why does Gaga allow such outrageous prices and then say she’s doing it all for her little monsters? And why do people go to three or four shows? wth, the show won't change that much. Let other people have some fun too. Sorry, had to rant.

I was pretty much the only one of my 6 friends that got through in both the presale and the regular sale. I have a superfast internet connection that only I used, I think that played a part.

I now feel slightly guilty for getting tickets to multiple shows, with so many fans missing out. That has never happened before. Gaga struggled to sell out in the Netherlands the past decade.

I got very lucky.

I joined the presale for Miami and was like one of the first people in. Had my tickets within two or three minutes :rip:

Then a few hours later I was able to get on almost immediately and grab an extra seat for Chica for less than $200 at the same show.

The amount of money I had to spend is complete bullsh*t but what can you do :huntyga:

🧡Should go home but the partysick wants me🧡

Had so many issues logging in to Ticketmaster during the pre-sale I ended up having to create a new account, by the time I managed to log in and join the gueue I was about 13900 in the queue. I almost gave up there and then but when I managed to get through I saw some VIP packages left, no regular seats anymore, which sucks because I wanted to go with friends and family. Managed to get a Silver VIP ticket, spent way more than I wanted to, but glad I didn't hesitate for too long.

I overall want to say the experience was not bad, but I tapped out during the presale and wound up going through Stubhub for tickets that were cheaper than anything Ticketmaster listed. I guess I am happy I got the tickets, but in terms of ease of actually getting them... I was actually a bit shocked at how much of a mess it was (mostly based off what I also heard from others).

That being said, I do want to believe that are will be MORE DATES in 2026 that align with an originally planned tour and it will be much more organized! I don't like how the sense of urgency was put among all the fans because we have no clue what else is to come, and so I also think that was partially why the ticket buying experience got out of hand for everyone.

Curious to hear anyone else's thoughts on this/their experience using resale websites!

Its shocking that these websites can't account for the amount of traffic they are gonna get for these types of moments and plan ahead better. I am glad you could get the tickets though (I am assuming you did based off your post!)

i had good luck with the Verizon presale. less than 2k ahead of me in the queue for MSG N4. selected my tix right away; was in and out by 12:10.

none of it makes any sense. it took me an entire hour to buy BRAT tour tickets for Barclays, and i had 20k+ ahead of me for Sabrina Carpenter so i didn’t get those. but both of those were artist presales, so maybe Verizon is the way to go?

My experience was actually good. My husband, my friend, and I all logged in. I was the first to get in, and I immediately saw 3 tickets on the floor directly next to VIPs but less than half the price. I grabbed them and the whole process after getting in took less than 3 mins.

Terrible!!! Enteted the queue in the presale and a few minutes later got in...almost all resales. Same with the 1st Toronto shows. For the 3rd there were only 58 people in front of me. 30 seconds later got in and again 99% resales. Absolute BS!!!

I got very lucky. I was number 5868 in the Verizon presale. It took about 15 minutes. Then when I got in there was NOTHING.  I abandoned the map on the left adn kept clicking and unclicking Verizon  access…then I randomly saw two seats pop up for MSG in section 116!!!!!!! I didn’t even look at the price(383+90 fee x2)  I swear I blacked out for a minute.  One ticket for mayhem is what it cost for me AND my mom to go to chromatica ball. But so worth it
