Hmmm, very interesting. With how much the NoA Treehouse chats have been shouting to drop the price I’d have thought Nintendo would’ve, well, lowered the prices:traumatica:

This is going to be very interesting

The age of cheap imported goods in America is well and truly over and the American consumers are in for a very very painful new world.

Join the UK. We’ve had insane prices for a while.

That being said, £395 for a console is pretty good imo. It’s just the games that are crazy priced.

But Americans chose tariffs to show off how big and powerful they are, I’m sure they’ll be pleased with this.

True, and there isn't anything we can do about it, but as long as they suffer, I'll sleep better at night

The UK's issue has been the lack of wage growth meaning that in real terms, people's spending power is lower than it was in 2008.

The UK's never really been in the position of the USA where its consumer prices are kept artificially lower through economic size and consumption rates. Especially since Brexit.

Obviously there are bigger impacts of what’s happening right now but this is just a taste of what’s to come. It’s all downhill from here baby

The way we wanted to believe that those prices already had the tariffs being considered :icant:

They probably did, however it was accounting for a 10-20% tariff. Vietnam, which is where Nintendo manufactures their stuff, was hit with a 46% tariff.
