half of the show was ruined for me because i had to stay hyper aware the entire time, if i was one second slower i wouldn’t have gotten barricade whenever she came out to B stage, and i was literally less than 2 feet away on the aisle seat

i was so stressed, i needed to be up there for VIY because i ended up bringing my letter because giving it to her at barricade was always my plan A (and she took it!! 😭😭😭)

then i’d miss half of a song or more every time they’d make us go back bc they were sometimes even pushing us away and yelling and half of my row would be out so i’d be waiting for them to all go back to their spots. by the middle of the show i was literally almost crying because it was so chaotic and frustrating 

the beginning of the show and all of act 4 once i secured barricade were so amazing (especially Hair on the piano omg…) and made it so worth it i wouldn’t trade it for the world

i’m going again tonight and so glad i didn’t get floor tho i can’t do it again, hopefully i can chill and take everything in this time (and she won’t cancel )

How was her voice last nigh? I saw a couple of videos and her singing voice seems pretty fine, but her speaking voice is hoarse…

when i’m watching back videos i can tell her voice isn’t as strong and she was avoiding higher notes it seems

but during the show itself i didn’t notice too much

she also didn’t yell every 5 seconds to put your mother****ing paws up, only said it in a normal voice

I hope she keeps doing that for the rest of the dates. Wouldn’t mind if she lowers the key on some songs.

She should stick to that tbh, because uncontrolled yells are a bigger problem than overuse due to singing

At least to my ear, her technique on the screaming is actually generally pretty healthy. I just think the show is really vocally demanding and the performances are really close together with too few breaks to rest her chords in between. Either way, interested to see how she adapts moving forward.

When she's doing harsh vocals (killah or other vocals, like she usually improvises in BR and other songs) her technique is good, but when she's interacting with the audience it sometimes slips into an unhealthier territory. But yes, the setlist is very demanding and the dates are too close together

I thought at most of the shows the fans with aisle seats are able to stand on the barricade the whole show.
