Billie Eilish and Finneas have parted ways with their managers of a decade

Billie Eilish and Finneas have parted ways  with longtime managers Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman. The move comes as a surprise given the peaks of commercial and critical success the two have reached with the close-knit team that has been with them since the start.

Billie Eilish is taking on new management. The global superstar has enlisted veteran talent manager Jason Owen, whose Sandbox Entertainment reps Kacey Musgraves and Kelsea Ballerini. Owen will be managing Finneas, Eilish’s brother and longtime producer, as well.

Eilish and Finneas had been represented by Danny Rukasin and Brandon Goodman of Best Friends Music Management for the past decade. The two played a key role in steering the singer’s ascent from viral sensation to award-winning artist, registering over 100 million Spotify subscribers and a string of top 10 hits during their time together, including the chart-topping “Bad Guy,” “Everything I Wanted,” “Therefore I Am” and “Birds of a Feather.”

Maybe there were personal issues. It's also interesting that HMHAS is commercially successful yet it failed to hit #1 or win at least one Grammy even if it's technically Billie at her most artistic. She performed Birds of a Feather everywhere and it received neither.

Unfortunately, the new country singer manager isn't particularly promising. I don't think Kacey has successfully crossed over to pop yet.

Is it bad that i kinda hoped she'd get some new musical collaborators cause the cutaway made me think it'd be parts ways with Finneas? 😅 Like yea they do magic together, but imagine a totally new Billie sound not confined by the same producer
