KFL doesn't do it for me but CSTH is incredible

They definitely belong there more than DWAS :billie:

What do you think? Do you listen to only 14 tracks or all 16?

The album felt like it was missing something and those two tracks were it- the missing transitional pieces. Now the album is so smooth from one song to the next. :fan:

I listen to KFL and CSTH every time I play the album in full!

Except I leave them at the end right after DWAS 'cause I personally prefer the album ending on a more energetic tone.

Currently speaking, I only listen to half of the album (Garden Of Eden, Zombieboy, Abracadabra, Disease, Perfect Celebrity, Shadow Of A Man, Vanish Into You). And I'm happy with what I've got  Thank you miss Germanotta.

But one song that feels out of place for sure is DWAS

DWAS feels less out of place than Disease/Abracadabra

I mean, lbr, more than 8 songs would deserve to make the cut.

Right. But fans have insisted on doing this to each album since 2009, because of a weird obsession with critical reception and hyper fixation on “cohesiveness.” Sure, quality control has been a theme of critics since TFM, but I have no doubt even if LG3-7 had all been cut down into “tight 8 track EPs,” their MC scores would still be stuck in the 70s (84 for MAYHEM), and we’d have missed out on songs like Government Hooker, Electric Chapel, Aura, MJH, Sinners Prayer, Enigma, Blade of Grass, etc.

They may not be Pulitzer masterpieces with 500M streams on Spotify, but considering how much this same fanbase cries over unreleased demos and gaps between albums, I’d think they’d at least appreciate the diversity they add to their “favorite’s” discography if nothing else.

It’s so irrelevant in the streaming era especially when you can simply skip the songs you don’t vibe with as much. And there are far worse examples of bloated albums with filler tracks that get far less scrutiny from the “cohesive!” police.

They're really good transitions between the songs. Can't stop the high goes hard like Perfect Celebrity but has a lighter tone like Vanish into you. Kill for love has the same 80s as Don't call tonight, but with the vibe and drama of Michael Jackson, like Shadow of a man.

I have a playlist with all 16 tracks with proper track placement. It feels like a complete package especially since CTSH and KFL references other songs from the album (The DJ and monster/beast).

Rip your cd and import the track you want to spotify.

You need to enable local files on spotify setting for that

HelloHangoverz

But they're both on Mayhem. Some of you are too dependent on streaming to listen to music, get into local files :messga:

IS NO ONE GOING TO HELP ME WITH THE POST OFFICE?!
