Each is representative of the album section they're in, while not bringing anything new to the table. I wouldn't say MAYHEM feels incomplete without those, it's just tighter. BUT the musical quality and the concatenation (lol is this a word in English?) to the other songs from the album makes me think that KFL and CSTH should have been standard tracks!
