The person would need to have a copy of your ID! (And the tickets, obviously haha) 
But that was my experience in Paris, maybe it's different for other countries… Ticketmaster usually have a Q&A page, don't hesitate to look for it! (Or even send them an email if you can't find what you're looking for!)

In case anyone is stressing... at least in NYC... considering the size of MSG and the number of shows she's doing NYC/NJ has essentially double the tickets available vs. during Chromatica. I've also anecdotally noticed that venues hold tickets even past the general sale or void bots/scalped tickets or something. Oftentimes in the last month before a concert I've seen a ton of new non-resale tickets will pop up, I've seen this now happen for Beyonce, Janet, Madonna, and Kylie. Don't panic if it doesn't work out for you today or tomorrow. You can find a way to see this tour

I think that your spot is drawn at random, so being first in the waiting room doesn't mean like first in line.
