The record label believes A LOT in this project. 2.) The strategy this time could not necessarily be to replicate a “Flowers” moment, but to build Miley as a brand with higher amounts of content and a more robust storytelling. This would also allow for them to compete in categories that usually Miley is not an obvious choice. like Best Music Film, Best Music Video or Best Song Written for a Visual Media, hence amplifying her grammy voters coverage. Or just to generally expose her to the music filmmakers industry. They are basically setting up for future success and growth, rather than immediate hits right now. I sang Miley and Hannah songs for the talent show at my school multiple years in a row I am a bit turned off and critical because calling your own project stunning, spectacular and whatever else that trailer said, is cringe to me.
