After people called it "the worst movie ever made" i genuinely don't think i can ever trust anyone ever again

I can’t find a single way to defend this movie. Watching it in the cinema was torture. First, I had convinced my best friend to see it with me, and I felt so bad for her. I was constantly worrying about her experience. Then I started feeling bad for everyone else in the theatre too. I felt bad seeing some people leave, bad for Gaga, and bad for myself because I was so bored and miserable.

Now, to be clear, there was nothing wrong with the acting, singing, or the fact that it was a musical. The problem was simply that the plot was unbearably bland.

There are definitely worse movies out there, but this was the worst one I’ve ever seen.

The film is phenomenal; it's just not what the audience wanted and that's just makes it a punk production 💅🏽

So happy Gaga is in it. The times they are a-changin and one day it'll take its place in the criterion collection.

This + the ending.. we all left SO PISSED ugh i get legit angry about this, Gaga gets so mich sht for it to this day..

I still want to know the inside story of this movie. What happened behind the scenes ? What were all those late night rewrites about ? Was what ended up on the screen drastically different to what was originally intended ?

Loved it getting recognized, but i hate how people are so apologists of their own opinion just because a lot of people hated it, it's like they're afraid of slightly pissing off the people who disliked it, if you're gonna defend it go full out
