Could easily symbolize any number of things, but I thought it seemed kind of obvious that that was an allusion to pressure she received early in her career to get rhinoplasty

I love this intro! Especially knowing she replaced Beyoncé as the act that year. She could’ve done something cutesy, Telephone-related to please the audience, but nope. She said, “I’m gonna shove this octopus tentacle in my mouth and play with it!”

I loved Coachella and it’s impressive how much they did in so little time (also the setlist was a great surprise). I do think that judging by how secretive she has been and how long she has wanted to do this, we are getting something even more special this time around. Kind of reminds me of the a iTunes festival.
