Country or not, it’s just not a good song.  The production is weak as hell. All the hype, promo, even an Apple Music interview just for this level of output.

I like it, I grew up in rural Montana and it gives me Shania vibes from childhood. But, much like our fave, Chappell isn’t releasing what’s on the radio right now. I admire the art and appreciate the versatility - she really does remind me a great deal of Gaga.

Could be a sleeper hit or something. I see the potential.

But if it truly "fails" it's not really surprising. It's a noticeable departure from GLB sonically and well...it's country, so the reach won't be as wide.
