crybrowz 3,241
They're being too generous with Katy imo. I get it's about chart performance in the 21st century, but she's only had one top ten hit within the past decade (CTTR) and everything she's released in the second half of her career has underperformed. Her imperial era was relatively short-lived compared to a lot of other women on that list. Meanwhile Gaga's had five top tens (including three numbers ones) the past decade and all of her albums with the exception of L4S have gone number one. I'd be curious to know what metrics they used to determine the rankings.... Edited Friday at 03:18 PM by crybrowz

Expand She has released a total of 23 albums (Studio, EP, soundtracks, live etc) and has 106 entries in the BBHot100, 28 of them remaining in the chart for over 20 weeks each. That's how. It was shortlived, but her sales that time is undeniably massive enough to still include her on recent "top lists" Do I want Gaga to be on the 5th spot, yeah. But I kinda get it why Katy is higher than Gaga on this list. Tho I am not fond of Katy.
