I had a Chromatica Ball ticket that I had to sell. It was supposed to be my first Gaga show (despite being here since Just Dance). I haven’t watched any Chromatica Ball footage because I’m still heartbroken

Y'all may be the only fanbase to constantly degrade and "lash" her previous discography, like damnn chill a bit.

I would say that Joanne and Chromatica aren’t necessarily Lady Gaga’s strongest albums in her discography, but they’re far from bad. In fact, I really love several songs from both projects. What I connected with less, though, were the eras surrounding those albums. You could sense that Gaga wasn’t in the best place emotionally at the time—whether in interviews or in the Five Foot Two documentary. Watching that, it absolutely broke my heart; she seemed so fragile and vulnerable.

 

That’s why I don’t think people will say the same about MAYHEM. First of all, it’s an incredible album in its own right. But beyond that, Gaga herself is in such a great place now. She’s thriving, she’s clearly enjoying herself, and that joy and confidence radiate through the music. You can feel it, and that makes all the difference.

Personally I detest the concept of ranking albums and arguing which is the "best". I haven't listened to Joanne  (except PI which slaps too hard ) in a long time but would never attack it, it has its place.

I don't think it's helped by the fact Gaga is stoking the "favourites" conversation. To my shock in a recent interview she said BTW was her fav album to make, BTW & HML her fav songs off it. I feel like this is the first era she is openly favouriting.

yes chromatica is her worst album but its not a BAD album. i dont like the lashings that its receiving now that MAYHEM is out. MAYHEM really is just better in every aspect its kind of crazy

i think we all know it wasn't her that made the songs so short with trendy production....

i'm not the biggest defender nor hater of bloodpop but I think his influence is quite clear.

i hate when people say this. she named it after herself, it's her middle name too. it's like a self titled. the album is about herself, not her aunt. she was just part of the inspiration.
