RAMROD 107,451
A new behind the scene picture of the photoshoot just posted. It involved an actual shards of glasses to make some of those images we saw on MAYHEM now. While some others were just folded and bonded together. What do you think? Might be scanned as well, but what if it was actually taken by camera phone in that state?? Dayman 6,122
They’re definitely photos or photos. But not from a phone camera, wouldn’t be high enough resolution for print. And not scanned, because the broken glass wouldn’t really be able to be properly placed
Murakami27 3,711
It’s likely scanned with post production. It’s a technique some photographers really love to do to create that lo-fi, film-like, scrapbook effect. One of my friends that’s a photographer loves doing this. NUTELLA 6,029
Memorable photoshoot & techniques. The standard cover photo fits this album so ****ing well. I can't stop looking at it. After BTW special & TFM blonde, it is her best
Pablo 7,670
Really cool!! Love seeing bts. I'm a graphic design and will share my input, personally do not think they used a phone to take the photo. Camera sensors are still ahead of phone sensors. Plus it was taken in a studio, maybe even taken on medium format? eifulien 2,915
I mean, I was in love with the OG cover already and I'm a firm believer most of the fanbase will appreciate it as it ages, but knowing that it's an actual glass on top of a photo makes it so... physical and real, I love this! gumzy3000 7,118
I love the photos but a part of me feels like the aesthetic of the album cover and font does not match the album. Still love the music though trolly troll troll
elijahfan 25,669
It's definitely a photo of a photo. People had clocked that quite early, actually. I have to say the picture has grown on me considerably.

Still love the music though It kinda brings me back to her early career when I did feel there was a disconnect between the visuals and the music she was making. Dance pop is old news in Europe, her looks and attitude felt definitely edgier than her music, at least where I'm from. But I felt it all started to match and make sense with TFM, even more with BTW. So with all these talks of her going back to her roots, it's kinda funny to read these observations again I somewhat agree with you, and I think it contributed to the biased idea most of us built around what this album would be.
