Iluvartpop 411
The scalpers really made the Mastercard presale so damn stressful. But once it cleared out I noticed myself and many others were able to get tickets when the Livenation/KrisFlyer/General sales eventually took place. Whatever the sales, I'm glad to see her again after 14 years! And I also hope to see her elsewhere again if she goes on an official Mayhem Ball. I assume the Singapore shows are going to be similar to the Coachella/Rio/Mexico ones?
tlittlemonster 1,489
So... Are all the shows sold out now?? I thought they wanted to add another 2 dates - is that not happening anymore?

They're probably butthurt that she didn't stop in Shanghai instead. The 4 shows will sell out for sure, Taylor Swift only did 6 shows in Asia with the biggest tour ever. I think Gaga should add 2 shows in Tokyo once Singapore sells out.

The sales are pretty slow, unlike the mexico ones, besides they put out sales for 4 shows at once, so maybe they don't do those 2 extra shows now. Yeah I'm thinking that too I think they should add 2 shows in Tokyo instead Gaga sold out very quickly there during Chromatica That way she still has at least 6 shows in Asia

The SG shows already dubbed as the only show she will do in Asia. There could be legal repercussions if she decides to ignore that now. These promoter are not just saying it whenever they are branding a show to be exclusive like that. There gotta be a contract that lock her in to follow through that exactly. More people will be interested cos the country is larger and so much more to do there than the itty bitty SG. but people are comparing her to ts last year though

She could still go to Asia again next year or whenever with the official Mayhem Ball tour. Unlike Taylor Swift who got paid 3M+ dollars to tour exclusively in Singapore, it's been confirmed this was not the case with Gaga. She doesn't have an exclusivity contract nor got paid to tour exclusively there.

This isn't Europe or Nth America where you can easily transport stuff by road in a cheap manner. Asia tours are logistically more expensive because you need to transport staging, equipment and staff all via airplane travel in between Asian cities and countries. This is much more expensive than buses and trucks. Also it's been billed as the only Asian stop for this... Promo tour? 4 hours ago, tlittlemonster said: I mean I wouldn't be surprised considering TS was at her peak during The Eras Tour The thing is Ticketmaster Singapore is a mess, they sell out all tickets and then add new ones It doesn't make sense Then people who wanted a ticket think it's sold out so they won't buy it Yes people have noticed more tickets added to Ticketmaster now. It's interesting, and a tactic organisers use to tackle scalpers. By not releasing tickets all at once, it helps fans buy tickets later instead of 100% being snapped up by scalpers on Day 1, who would put it back on resale market at inflated prices. Once scalpers are selling at high prices, the concert organiser can dump the remaining tickets onto the market days after general sale, so that people who buy later can still by at original price and not be forced to the scalpers and pay through the nose. This only works well when there is no dynamic pricing though. When there is dynamic pricing, the organiser essentially is the ticket scalper. Overall, I hope Gaga will sell out and reasonably confident she will, once we see absolute SCENES from Coachella, Rio and Mexico City. Singaporeans have a strong sense of FOMO, or in their local language, a culture of kiasu. If you're from Australia, just add the country code (+61) followed by the area code/mobile indicator and local number. For example, if your mobile phone number is (04) 1234 5678, you would sign-up with +61412345678
