monstertoronto 9,088
Just thinking how it’s quite amazing to me that I have liked, if not absolutely loved, every single album Gaga has ever released. More than that, I actually obsessed about every single album that she came out with, (with the one exception of Joanne, which I did like and listened to a lot at the time, but I knew at the time it was never my fave). Even the jazz albums had long periods of time where they were on repeat and I got to learn every word of their American songbook classics. Ever her remix albums had their moments. I love a lot of artists but there’s always one album that I end up not connecting with. With Britney I do t think I ever made it through Glory more than once. With Madonna, I never got Madame X. I mean, I’m also talking about artists that have long careers, like I love Chappell’s only album. But it remains to be seen how the entire discography falls. It’s even more amazing to me that Gaga has achieved this with me having released such a truly diverse discography covering so many different genres. Does anyone else have artists that they loved every single album? Edited 6 hours ago by monstertoronto 2 1 10

Melania K Trump 6,287
I was just thinking about this myself, as much as we all support Gaga in a personal (parasocial) capacity, very few of us probably have the full range of taste to appreciate all of Gaga's discography, from pop to electronic to EDM to country to jazz to house and everything in-between, like I feel like most of us would be forgiven for not being the biggest fans of at least an album or two since she switches genres at the speed of light. Like at this point there's going to be about a roughly 50% split of fans that prefer her regular pop/edm/house albums and the other 50% that prefers the jazz/country/alternative Gaga songs, with the rare couple of super fans that genuinely just like all genres of music and thus everything Gaga puts out. So I think we can all be forgiven for maybe not liking an album or two (Joanne). Current First Lady of the United States. Praying for my husband's death.

I think it is pretty unusual that I just happen to like it all! But I find I don’t like some albums that other people absolutely adore and they just dont keep my interest. Taste is so individual and unpredictable sometimes. I don’t know that I’ll ever have another artist that this happens with or if this will continue. Like if she releases the “hard rock” album so many people want I might tap out of that one.
LeafBug 8,075
I think we’re in the minority. I’m really lucky most of the stuff she puts out clicks with me, including Joanne. I am certainly not a blind fan as I’m very critical of most music these days but Lady Gaga always manages to hit the right spot. I said it once before, I like 99% of her discography and there are like 3 songs max that I would skip. I find I really like even some of the weird little ad libs or background things she does in her songs. Like I got unreasonable joy from “garden panty”, or when she says “ew”, or thy high pitched baby voice in the background during the spoken part of Judas. I just really vibe with her choices.

At first I wasn’t as much into Love for Sale because I was so familiar with C2C at that point but then i ended up loving L4S even more. Harlequin is such a unique record to me because it isn’t just one thing. I haven’t actually listened to it since Mayhem came out, I’ll have to revisit!

Some songs i couldnt be bothered, but its a great record. I love cole porter, honestly don't like Gaga singing in here so much. But ive never sat down and listened to It. I Just get annoyed and start skipping. Ill def do It One of these days. Till a while ago i was on a bit of Gaga break. Harlequin sounds really tender and innocent, hooeful After mayhem. Its like holding gaga's hand sometimes. Lets Hope that concert sees the light of day.

I mean I really did like it. At the time maybe I did love it. I loved diamond heart, Joanne, John Wayne, dancing in circles, and I’m even one of the few who seemed to like Grigio girls. But some of the songs I don’t love. Like Perfeft illusion it always felt to me it was building to a better chorus or something but never got there. It’s my least favourite of her lead singles. And I never understood why she seemed to love A-Yo so much she performed it a million times and I could never totally get into it. And angel down, I think is my least favourite Gaga song maybe, even less that JnD. Compared to all her other albums Joanne just has a bigger percentage of songs I’m not as into than the others which are almost all mostly skipless for me. I did appreciate the simple cover art. I think the album also suffered a bit for me because I couldn’t get that quote from Five ft Four out of my head “you don’t have to be so maudlin” lol.

Anderson123 36,913
I also love all of Gaga’s projects and not sure if it’s because I’ve been a fan from the start so I got to experience every release one by one and all of her process. I do listen to her music every day and she’s my favorite artist and we know how passionate and hard working she is. There are some albums with songs I skip or rarely listen to but there’s not really something BAD that I would delete. I was also thinking about this because as much as I love Madonna, Britney, Christina, Avril, P!nk, Sia, Lorde, Lana, Adele etc these all have had some weak releases at some point or just something not for me. Recently I’ve experienced this with Billie Eilish. All of her 3 albums have been 10/10 for me. Edited 4 hours ago by Anderson123
