The Beast Is Underrated

I have to admit, much of the album has to grow on me. Besides the 3 singles we already had, the only other 2 songs I liked a lot on first listen was Perfect Celebrity and The Beast

 

But the beast, its getting lower streams and little attention in this fan base but what a beautiful melody and such a feel good vibe

And the lyrics are so strong! it's so surprising to me it's doing bad on streaming, I would think soccer moms would like this? Idk, maybe I don't get the GP at all 

and monsters are sleeping on it because it's a "ballad", I don't even think this is a ballad tbh  It's just a slow burn

I like it, feels heavy asf after Shadow of a Man but worth the slow burn for the amazing bridge + that Axl Rose moment on "inside" at the end, what a payoff

The chorus gets better & better each time (the last feels really intense).

But the verses & pre-chorus are so, so, so bad.
