But when you have money and I’m assuming connections like Michael’s come into your life, you get insulated which in Gaga’s case gave her the space to actually make music again. I mean this is like Beyonce marrying Jay z kind of moves just Michael is not as publicly known. And look how insulated beyonce has managed to get. Not a SOUL messes with her. That's quite true. But we shouldn't forget that there's a lot he could achieve through her that he didn't experience before, in spite of all his money: recognition and influence to a whole other level. Then again, he's likely a good guy and we can thank him for making our girl so happy. I'm just a little careful observing his ever-growing presence in all spheres of her life, both private and public. My feeling isn't against him personally, it's just no matter who he is and how good he is, I'm not sure it's ever that great to let a partner have so much control and influence over you. You never really know what could happen down the road.

He doesn’t really seem to be particularly interested in fame, tho, given that he rarely ever appears in public with her, much less without her.

Eh I mean sure but he has plenty of both of those things in his spheres of life. I mean, he’s worth $600m. He veeeery clearly doesn’t want her kind of fame or he’d have exploited that by now (he’s with her a lot rn bc she’s way busier and I imagine his work is not geographically bound; but is he out doing interviews? Dragging lame friends around? No he’s just by her side where she’s at). It’s been YEARS, you know? There’s really no other “perks” he could garner from her presence besides visibility which when you’re rich af who wants that? It’s not about power, money, influence. He has all of that already. The only other “thing” he could get is fame but I don’t think he wants that.

as for the general consolidation, I feel like these are things that happen when you’re in a relationship. Gaga’s SO visible that her work is her life in many respects. I think she really wants someone to help her manage the burden that comes with being as gigantic as she is—someone she can confide in who isn’t on the payroll in some fashion or another and not a parent (bc that’s always a little different ofc).
