More songs I dont really vibe with than I expected (probably a taste thing) But the quality of each is superb regardless.

The songs I love are in my opinion, maybe my favourite by her ever. After Perfect Celebrity the energy became quite lovey - dovey and funk driven, 2 things I'm not currently searching out in music, maybe one day.

Okay, so I HAVE to share this: when I first listened to MAYHEM, I was like ???. totally shook because it was NOTHING like what I was expecting, especially after the two singles we got. I feel like most of us can agree they kinda made us believe the album would be full-on dark pop, right? So yeah, the initial shock was REAL.

But once I got over that (which took a minute, ngl), I cleared my expectations and just let the album do its thing. And wow… WHAT. AN. ALBUM. There isn’t a single track I feel like skipping. Every song is so well-produced, with strong concepts behind the lyrics and everything. It’s such a mature album, and it reflects not just her age now but also her crazy rich intellectual and cultural background.

And the production? IMMACULATE. Like, don’t get me wrong, I love Chromatica, but I always thought production was its weak point. With Mayhem, though, they absolutely nailed it. Her vocals are INSANE—so inspired, so creative, showing all her power and versatility. It’s such an authentic, personal body of work. It brings back the originality, the weirdness, and the authenticity that made me fall in love with Gaga in the first place.

Say what you want about Mayhem, but one thing it’s NOT is generic or uninspired. I can’t even pick favorite tracks because I genuinely love all of them. And listen, I’m not usually a big fan of ballads (I usually go for the more upbeat stuff), but even the ballads on this album? Amazing. This is a 10/10 for me, no doubt.

I think the promos and the visuals set up a wrong expectation of its sound, and the tracklisting made it less exciting after Perfect Celebrity. But I will love it regardless just like all Gaga's albums lol

This is, without a doubt, her most badass album, alongside BTW. I'm completely blown away by her musical versatility and growth with Mayhem. She's truly a rockstar.

1. Disease 2. Cant stop the high 3. Vanish into you 4. Abracadabra 5. Perfect celebrity 6. Garden of Eden 7.  Dwas those are my faves in order. I don't like Killah at all. I don't like the Gwen Stefani/Scissor Sisters vibe in Zombieboy. I kinda like the chorus. Did they change it from the original used in the Disease vid? The other tracks I'm still trying to digest. I really hope a deluxe is released.
