Mistress Mayhem is a LIAR, a SCAMMER, a MESSY BITCH who LIVES for drama. She loves robbery AND fraud.

I'm sure she will return shaking her *** on the dancefloor on the sound of Zombieboy

There are countless fans on this forum, and also other pop forums, calling out the false marketing. And there is a reason for that.

Yeah, they're petulant entitled children :ohwell:

Imagine thinking Gaga would make a whole album with the same sound (something she has never done)

almost 20 years into her career and fans are STILL not understanding that having any expectations about her work is futile

So maybe the Gaga I fell in love with doesn't really... exist? Does that make sense to anyone else?

She's still here in songs like "Disease", "Abracadabra", "Perfect Celebrity" and "Zombieboy" etc :vegas:

Red and Blue, The Fame, The Fame Monster, Born This Way, ARTPOP, Cheek to Cheek, Joanne, A Star is Born, Chromatica, Love For Sale, Harlequin, and now Mayhem

Every album sounds different from beginning to end, especially different from album to album, and the gays are mad 'cause what? They only got two tracks that they seem worthy of shaking their blown out bussies to in a club? :air:

I hate stans :air:

This is some of her best work here and they're mad?! :air:

Didn't she say that when you start to listen to it you have an idea and then the next song is complitely opposite? And people believed by saying this she had 14 dark pop tracks? lol

The only people saying she was going back to fame monster era music were randos online.  She never said that.

However, the article does make a good point that she talked all about "gothic dreams" and yet the album feels so bright and sunny.  But i don't think thats necessarily contradictory, its just the way people read into things

I think mayhem is most similar to the fame. That album had dance pop bangers at the beginning and went towards funky disco sounds towards the end and a few ballads. It's mainstream, it's light and happy and it's gonna do well like the fame did. Who cares if the font doesn't match the sound, when the music is great

I absolutely love the album but I don't think this is necessarily wrong. It's a very colourful album in my mind.

TF is literally an album that all the songs are “tracks that they seem worthy of shaking their blown out bussies to in a club”. Still, people are saying Mayhem is very similar to TF… I just can’t explain it, but I feel these albums are so… different? Mayhem is not an electropop album like TF at all

in my seeing…

Disco heaven, summerboy, boys boys boys, brown eyes, again again. Not sure these are are hard hitting and electronic as poker face or lovegame. What I mean is that it has heavier and lighter songs it's not just all one genre, I feel mayhem is similar.

You're probably right, maybe I just look at these songs differently because of affective memory and nostalgia... Maybe we're both a little right tho

A "dark album" doesn't necessarily mean it needs to be heavy industrial electropop. The beast is a dark song and it's a ballad . After finishing listening the whole album, it created a more melancholic/nostalgic feeling rather than a bright one for me.I agree tho, there should have been more rock songs like perfect celebrity. Can't stop the high should have replaced either DCT or HBDYWM.

On a side note: I don't understand the killer hate. It's by far her most interesting song since ARTPOP(title track) and people in the Fandom usually love when she goes experimental.

to be honest is true. the album is not bad! i just think that even marketin would be the same shock as if gaga also share in the visuals the complexity and duality of hers. it is her but imcplit not explicit

kindest regards
