no baby but total sales are way more important, so yeah if we are lucky it will end up with 1m first week total

True but there’s a huge difference between going number one and being a gorgeously explosive force. 300k is really great but doesn’t give the latter

At least Gaga is not purposefully persuading fans to but more copies by adding different demos or voice notes in each version. She has only stuck to the typical deluxe tracks. 

I completely agree with this.  Taylor releases albums with DIGITAL varients, sold for cheap and just for one or two exclusive tracks (usually acoustic versions of the original song), which her fans eat up.  Gaga on the other hand, has some exclusive to certain stores, or just unique collectors items.  There’s a difference between different color vinyls for $40 each and $5 for a digital with one new song.

Have we got updated numbers on her previous records when it comes on how many copies sold to this day? Would be a nice touch before tracking MAYHEM sales weeks

200-225k is very respectable.

Walmart, Urban Outfitters and Amazon all had dispatch delays, so I think it will trend up and break through the 225k threshold once the Tuesday update comes. Not to forget SNL is happening tonight, so that will push it a little too!
