im kinda perplexed at the safeness of some songs like vanish into u, how bad do u want me and balde of grass

I don't think Vanish is safe as much as like... a particular vibe that the lyrics called for. It's very bleeding heart and glam rock and I think that's what the track gives.

I completely agree, I do think How Bad Do You Want Me is unmistakably Taylor. To an unsettling degree. It's Gaga in Taylor drag.

I don't know what else you could've wanted from BOG as far as safeness goes though.

I am definitely still on the fence. It's this or BTW for me.

I wouldn’t say Magnus opus but I’m loving it more with each listen. Easily her best song writing in a decade and the production really is phenomenal, even if not to everyone’s taste. It’s fantastic

also justice for how bad do u want me, I LOVE THAT SONG!!!!

I can’t go a day without listening to at least 5 songs from it. She truly did something special for us.

It's in the Holy Trinity

TF+M, BTW, MAYHEM

I don't think with Gaga you can claim just one album as the absolute best.

I did not feel that way when Joanne or Chromatica came out, FYI:huntyga: (although they weren't bad)

I'm still listening but I think it best encapsulates the LADY GAGA sound. She's 80s, she's theatre, she's electronic, she's campy, she's hard, she's soft, she's Lady, she's Gaga!

This for sure. I want her to make records that represents her artistry, and her musical tastes are vast. This album sounds like the music she grew up with and I love it.

I believe you because I've done this so many times lol. I was eleven when Born This Way came out, so it reminds me of my preteen and teen years, a time when I got bullied a ton for being "weird" and later for being gay. I just love the campy, rebellious spirit of the album. My favourite thing in the world is going on night walks at 2 in the morning and listening to it strutting down empty streets feeling like the baddest btch on the block, then tearing up when Hair or Bad Kids comes on. It will always be her magnum opus in my eyes.

had a northern lad, well not exactly had.

Shipper

I see her albums as different mood swings. You can be all of it but not necessarily the time. Mayhem is not what I expected but it is definitely good and very catchy and no skip for me and dare I say it, cohesive even if she titled it Mayhem.

I feel like the GP will like it.

It absolutely is concrete in my heart too. And the way she sings some songs. It's so emotional (baby)

No. Unfortunately the trio-LoveDrug, Don't Call Tonight, How Bad Do U Want Me- creates a huge gap

Don't inflict your gape on her
