The way she is describing mayhem makes me think this is going to be even more all over the place and in-cohesive. Most of Gaga's projects all seem to lean somewhat in the same direction sonically, The heavy electronic ARTPOP, the light boozy joanne. 
 

i don’t mean any if this in a bad way at all, the material we have gotten so far is incredible, i just think this is the first time we might not have an album with heavy sonic theming or a strong concept. Some would argue ARTPOP was record that did this, However i understood the concept of the album, and sonically i think the songs fit together well despite the differences influences in different tracks.

It has SO MANY different production elements but it sounds cohesive. Even DWAS doesn’t feel out of place.

I just heard it. WOW. I was expecting the fame monster, born this way vibes but this feels like the fame 2.0 for me. When she said the fame monster was like the yang to the fame’s yin, THIS is what i thought TFM would have sounded like, a darker version of the fame
