Head Empty 24,735
Definitely a highlight for me. It very specifically makes me feel like I'm in slow-motion, wearing a long gown, elegantly running through a moonlit gothic hallway Happiness will never last, darkness comes to kick your ass... ᵃˢˢ 🕺

PartySick 152,268
"When I die, can I vanish Into you?" >>>>>>>>> "I wAnNa HoLd YoU jUsT fOr A wHiLe AnD dIe WiTh A sMiLe" The imagery she paints with this song, lyrically and sonically it's this and LoveDrug for me. Those are my ride or dies. 🧡The blindfold's off my eyes, all I see for me is better days🧡
jimmytimestep 2,656
Although in my first listens it didn’t stick out to me, upon repeats it just grows on me more and more. I could see this becoming one of the most beloved songs on the album over the years, and a new Gaga staple.
Thwack 762
This one almost has slight pop punk vibes (My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Panic at the Disco)… through a more popified lens.

Cavadour 2,171
Engaging vocal harmonies. Bowie's letsdancy guitar riffs. Great 80's bop à la Billy Idol. Hints of The Cure's Head on the Door guitar sparkles. A shout of the heart. Seeking shelter in the warmth of your partner's arms. Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

The whole album has a lot of Cure, Nothing Enough in Garden, the Beast or Perfect Celebrity. This fantastic song also reminds me of Duran Duran. Essentially Seven Tiger album. Their best and most underrated which aimed at “mixing Chic with Sex Pistols”. Mayhem definitely have that New Romantic/Early New Wave funky romanticism. Even bands like ABC are there in the layers.
