When listening to Blade Of Grass, I feel a certain longing, for what I don't know. Parts of the chorus melody did remind me of some other song though. After hours it finally hit me: The chorus melody of Kesha's All I Need Is You! They are not identical, of course, but in parts they are reminiscent of each other. Seeing how there seem to be many more similar melodies in other songs out there, maybe this melody and chord progression is used a lot? It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead.
