Blackout19 10,928
Born This Way era changed my life. Actually saved my life. She is everywhere, and I really love this. How do you feel? How exciting are you? It takes a smart brunette to play a dumb blonde. 4 1
Starmie25 15,971
I actually feel we are in the MAYHEM era 3 1
MaybeKermit 4,403
hmm I feel like still it's still a bit too early to say that. It really depends on the quality of the music.. If you mean Marketing wise, then no not really because I remember she was EVERYWHERE back then during the release week (trains/metros all over the world in BTW design, stations were asked to play BTW album non stop during 24h (even in Antwerp, Belgium which I found crazy!!), and many many other promo stuff) With Mayhem she is doing a lot of interviews, but they haven't done anything groundbreaking til now when it comes to the promo (unless I haven't seen it)

AVeryGagaHolyDick 22,583
I wouldn’t go that far, BTW was reaaally heavier in terms of promo, but it’s I agree, it’s such an exciting time I can’t fvcking wait for the release. I just know it will be amazing.
princedeeblebleble 1,018
Not there quite, it's missing the performances everywhere, but all the interviews on Friday will be quite a delight to behold :3
Monstermilo 4,021
chart wise not quite, BTW debuted and stayed at number one for 7 weeks and then she had several top 10 hits from BTW abra is underperforming to where i dont even know if it will crack the top 10........... i think this album is for the stans and we will love it, but im not sure if she can match her omnipresence during BTW. the born this way promo also felt more thought out, we are almost to release day and she hasnt even performed any of the songs live yet i think gagas at the point where stats dont matter, shes just doing what makes her happy Edited 12 hours ago by Monstermilo
Monstermilo 4,021
im hoping im wrong but clearly the GP wants songs like DWAS and shallow from gaga. abra went a little viral for a while, but its not doing great on the charts. im hoping it gets a boost from release week but idk i dont know if mayhem will do well with the general public. but as long as us stans love it, thats all gaga cares about
Notorious 96
It is reminiscent of the early years of Gaga and I’m enjoying that a lot, as a fanbase and community the adrenaline and excitement is palpable
TheFriend 1,932
I'd like to think each and every era has it's unique charm thus I would say that this is incomparable to her previous era. Something I know for sure is that this era is for the books. We'll look back to this and reminisce this magnificent of an era
Sneaky Oliver 21,730
It’s so funny when people compare it to BTW because it’s not even close, I’d say Mayhem promo era is the closest to Joanne but Joanne had even more interviews/appearances
nath4gaga2 127
I think excitement level I'm probably at a Chromatica level (which is pretty damn excited). It just feels like we're in a BTW era promo because we're getting a lot more than Chromatica, when actually we're in Joanne era level promo (maybe even less than that). Let's wait for what she had planned for the promo of this album.
Vengaboy 1,231
We're not gonna be back to that era until we've had at least 10 tv performances!!!
