Gaga said she wrote Poker Face with RedOne in 15 minutes, quick producing and programming and they immediately knew they had something special with that song. She also says she was very inspired by Timbaland at the time and Poker Face was the start of her experimenting dance music

I’m sure didn’t they do the whole album in a matter of weeks? Like she bleached her hair, got signed to Interscope and starting working on music almost immediately

Yeah RedOne said they recorded the final versions of all of their songs on The Fame in a couple of weeks. And she already had some with Rob Fusari done + Summerboy. So yeah they went pretty quick on The Fame. 

And it's now one of the biggest female pop album EVER. The rest is history
