She served bops on this album. She added extra dates to her sold out tour. 
 

I think the playful pop stan shade is fun but let’s be honest, this girl has proven she is the real thing. This album is on repeat for me. I hope the next album takes it even further and she experiments with more dance beats and big room sounds.

She's an amazing performer and I'm really looking forward to see her on tour. I think she needs to show her personality a bit more to truly become a superstar, but she's only 21 so she has plenty of room to grow.

idk, from her streaming stats (especially apple music) it seems people like the filler a lot. She would be an idiot to get rid of Ryan Tedder and Grant Boutin rn.

They're not bad songs, but they lack the quality of the singles, she needs producers that are going to put thought into the whole album. It doesn't feel memorable for me.

Then again, maybe the album will feel differently to me if I listen more, I'm in MAYHEM mode rn so maybe that's why I'm not feeling the album lol

Like I know who Tate is and I like a few of her songs but with the way she’s charting and selling out her tour I would think she would be in the headlines more like the rest of current pop girlies but she seems to not be. I guess the tabloids don’t have any dirt on her or she herself isn’t getting into any shenanigans, which is a good thing bc we know how awful they can be.

I was talking about the general sound of a few her songs, not just on this album.

Greedy and It's Ok I'm Ok for sure sound like something the Pussycat Dolls would release.

I hear this generalization all the time but no one ever can pin point it.
 

PCD had a few hits but they weren’t the ONLY pop act doing this sound in the mid 2000’s. I call it Darkchild/Neptunes infused pop. Why just PCD? Couldn’t Britney have released Greedy on the In The Zone album? Xtina? Destinys Child? Why the focus on PCD? I mean, we can even say that Gaga’s “Reloaded” could be a Tate song. 
 
I lived thru that era of pop and vividly remember it and it was such a fun era! I know younger generations take inspiration from 20 years ago (ie platform shoes and bell bottoms being popular in the late 90’s, bright neon colors and big hair in the 2008 as it was in the 80’s). Kids today love the Y2K aesthetic and I love to see their take on it. Tate picked a fun era of pop. The music was fun and sexy and the dancing to go on with it.
