Cool stage but now it makes sense why she's been able to put on so many dates and they've been so successful (apparently) despite struggling to chart for years now. It's so big that it cuts into so much space that would ordinarily have been taken up with ticketholders, especially in smaller, round arenas. Still, that stage, dancers, hoisting equipment will not come cheap and her tickets aren't pricey enough to compensate, especially if they don't sell. She could still do half empty arenas, but would it cost more than it would save to just cancel it?

Not a fan of Katy and wouldn’t attend her shows but she’s going to be fine after 143. She still has a lot of legacy hits to support her concerts and most of these people have to be in their 30’s now. Like I know some friends around my age that are getting tickets to see her just because it’s Katy but had no idea she dropped new music.

I'm excited to see what the production looks like. She always has budget in her tours. Unless you have an unlimited budget, arena shows have more room for cooler productions (without mentioning the improved views vs a stadium). Just look at the JWT, I wish I could've seen it. 

I really hope that if we get a stadium tour, we at least get a decent stage this time around.
