They came out around the same time, and then hit carrer peak of extreme popularity in career near the same time (like a year or two apart I guess) and had similar time releases

 

And Katy Perry once 2011 hit pretty much surpassed Gaga in general popularity

 

Now the tables have turned and clearly Gaga is doing a lot better. Do you think Katy Perry is jelous or do you think she doesnt care at all?

She has always admired Gaga but I don’t think she looks at her with jealously. I do think she keeps up with her projects so she’s probably going to listen to Mayhem and maybe even attend the shows she does.

Ngl, the whole Roar vs Applause was at the height of my obsession with Gaga. So I can't help but have some residual petty feelings toward her. Like, haha you're getting your karma now (even though I don't believe in that stuff). But the realistic part of me thinks that, regardless of the feud, there's no way she can't be a little jealous. It's just human to be. I never believed when she said all the negativity about her album wasn't getting to her. And I wouldn't believe it if she wasn't looking at Gaga's success right now with a little envy.
