Having said this i have a theroy that MAYHEM would have a mixture of genres ant that mixture will also join one with another. Disease is EDM and the intro of Abracadabra is EDM but it turns to dance pop. I think Garden of eden (the next song) will start with dance pop but will mix another genre and so on. Thats why disease was the lead and the first song kindest regards

It may not have been a hit, but it stands out against everything out there today. There are so many layers and details from the production to her vocals. Abracadabra is more catchy and bombastic, but Disease challenges you and I love that. I have no doubt it’ll be better appreciated in the future. Exactly this tbh We have forgotten our public MANNERS
RochestrMonstr 3,216
I think I like Debra more, but I’m very much still under her spell. Disease is something really incredible too Edited February 26 by RochestrMonstr

GreenEyes 1,056
I’m a disease girly all the way. The production, her vocals. It’s one of her most interesting tracks to date that of course went unappreciated. Abra is great as well, I can’t believe this is how the album starts

shootagun 21
Disease all the way. Abra is a great song, but I feel it was created mostly to provoke nostalgia. It's the old Gaga formula. Disease has a heavy emotional weight, not just for the lyrics, but also vocally and music video wise. skeleton guns are wedding bells in the attic.

phantasmas 10,570
Disease but the Abra remixes I have found are going harder than the Disease mixes
NibbCub 234
Disease is my fave. I love everything about it. It's her Closer by NIN.
uglysexy 122
They're both amazing in their different ways, and they're both very high quality tracks (the production is wonderful). Because of my personal tastes Abracadabra resonates with me a lot more, the lyrics sound so good and clever (gibberish followed by "in her tongue she said: death or love tonight" and "phantom of the dance floor, come to me) and I like how dynamic it is. On the other hand Disease has amazing production, the beat really gets your attention and I love how heavy it is. Her voice during "like a god without a prayer" is fierce and the double vocals all throughout the song are genius. The ending is beautiful! It makes me want to run away from Mayhem as well It's true though that it's easier to put Disease on repeat, it tires you out less. 1
atemybrain 2,077
Right now, it’s Abra, but that could just be recency bias. Ask me again in like 3 months lol. Disease has such an insane musical and vocal production though, so they’re literally neck and neck for me.
