She is! I even keep seeing reels of her just saying literally anything (because it's always gracious / inspiring or hilarious) ftom non gaga related accounts and everyone just loving on her. If I had time I'd make a tiktok account or do reels of some really great ones nobody's seen to add to hype train but ya boy is not 18 anymore and has bills :saladga:

(monsters really should do this more if they can though)

Yas! I know the GP will come and go, but it's heartwarming to see that it's "cool" to like her again  :kara:

I hope the people who thought Joker would ruin her career are sleeping well tonight :laughga:

joker definitely did not ruin her career but I think it has hurt her film career + her acting reputation from the gp and from critics. i hope its not harder for her to get her next acting gig

this also has to do how algorithms work on social media, good feeback brings more good feedback. It's not there wasnt good feedback for joker

But yeah on my socials, Gaga is substituting Ariana lol. Now it's always reels of Gaga doing things:icant:. That's why doing these lie detector kind of promo are important. These small clips are shared to death everywhere. She's very entertaining in her very specific way, people that resonate to that just need to find it. The same for the music.

Yea its surreal and amazing. I'd been trying to drop my social media addiction but seeing people freak out over her all over my timelines for weeks has been like reliving 2009/10/11 again. I truly did love the Chromatica era, so it only impresses me more that she was *just* beginning to get back into her full pop bag, and would grow and improve from there.

I'm just so proud of Gaga and all her hard work; she is showing everyone exactly why people ride so hard for her. You can also tell its because she's is in such a good place personally, and is able to build a balanced life around her work, instead of just being constantly drained and pushed to the limit.

I also loved hearing how she framed her thoughts on any difficulty she had in her career when she said "I definitely feel like i've been tested," which to me shows that she's in a really healthy place where she can look back on the more difficult parts of her career as a test of her commitment and see that she was strong enough to persevere.

I was semi active when Chromatica was being released but I didn't have anyone to share my excitement with- so I didn't see much press either... right now though feels like the BEST time to be a brand new little monster... This is my first time experiencing an album during it's launch like this and I'm SO excited

Omg welcomeee, I hope you have a blast with this rollout! It’s as close as it can get to her early days so it’s indeed the best time to be a new fan because you get to experience some of that energy!

I always knew the GP would end up loving her in the long run. From the very beginning she was cementing to be one of a kind artist. Very happy for her, and not for the sake of sales and so on, but because we all know as fans she doubted herself at some point and started to believe she was a failure. I just know she is enjoying this

For that, we need to bring back the topic "Why was DWAS added to MAYHEM" once again :Lurk:

I agree but it’s not really surprising when Harlequin was tied to Joker and they sat too long on the Film :rip: I do hope that Mayhem brings light to both projects tho. Let’s pray to Judas for a late bloom

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

I picture her eventually doing a Vegas residency doing Harlequin in a couple years (if she gets out of radar in terms of releasing music as we all are expecting)

The public is a fickle crowd and I don't suspect Gaga will be getting a warm welcome into new acting spaces unless her next film is a hit. Like it or not, casting directors aren't gonna be interested in what is becoming a bit of a box office poison curse, her fault or not. There's plenty of actresses who have suffered the same fate despite dozens upon dozens of incredible performances. At what point does the name Lady Gaga, something that used to be a selling point for films like House of Gucci and A Star Is Born (two films none of y'all would care about if it weren't for Ga, same for the GP), become something everyone cringes at, knowing it's an indicator of a flop? One more strike and she's out, I fear.

I personally loved Joker 2 and everything assoicated with it. I listened more to Harlequin more than any Gaga album in a very, very long time, but her acting career will suffer for it, even if we're completely cool with her. She's still considered a risky move, I feel. But I do think it's made her lock into her music more and give that her all, which is a blessing. Everything happens for a reason, and as much as it pains me to think of all the content we've been robbed of thanks to Joker 2 flopping and there being no more red carpet looks/Oscar campaign, at least we'll have Mayhem!
