I would believe this rumor if he weren’t signed to Interscope, but being that he is it’s probably not true. Logically they wouldn’t want two of their popular artists to overshadow each other.

I really believe playboy carti release won’t interfere with Mayhem’s success at all. Different type of music, different kind of artist with different “target”, don’t forget Gaga’s fandom and popularity is huge (especially right now), so the one who’s gonna be damaged tbh is playboy carti… let’s be real.  However, I am amazed by the terrible organization of Interscope Records

Do people here really not know Playboi Carti?  I've been waiting for this album for so long, the release has been rumored too many times, I wasn't even sure if this album was still coming. If 3/7 ends up happening it really will be a night of MAYHEM!

Interscope will want him and Gaga to get number one albums, probably not gonna happen. And if it does, he’s a threat on streaming but Gaga would absolutely crush him in pure sales, especially with the weeks of pre-orders

I have no doubt Mayhem will outperform and outsell globally

My only worry is US as usual as somehow the Gaga's fan base doesn't seem as strong there
