One thing we can’t also forget is that, remember when Gaga said the album was coming on February? What would possibly happen for its release to be pushed back to March then? lastpopicon 29,485
I still hope this isn't true and I feel like people are underestimating Carti, he's big right now and with 5 years of anticipation, and need I remind you how well rappers do in the states Fun stat, his 3 latest albums are all over 3billion streams, chromatica has less than 3B Just to put in perspective how big he actually is on the streaming age. Now, I think gaga still beats him 1st week but this is not ideal... The melody that you choose can rescue you

A one week raging fire in LA, relatively close to Gaga’s house and probably members of her team at large.. lol

Bronco 10,802
I can't wait for the album to release so y'all have actual music to focus on rather than just the charts. 6 3

LastNight 5,935
So this is based on nothing more than someone claiming to have a contact in the know (triggered) and fan speculation. Glad to know we’re not the only fanbase subjected to “insiders”. Honestly, the words “subject to change” “take with a grain of salt” etc. should tell you all we need to know. The album is supposedly coming in a couple of weeks but apparently the plan is still subject to change? Come on. Logically Interscope aren’t going to do 2 big album releases on the same day - the label is gonna want 2 number one albums under their belt. They’ll stagger the releases. Stefanotta 1,253
Guys come on who cares?! This album is a gift to us, don’t bother with charts and streams. Just listen and enjoy Mayhem My biggest enemy is me. 1
Gagaism 11,625
Guys there’s two points on all of this: one is that of course we wouldn’t care, I am a fan since the beginning and after being thru the whole ARTPOP times I wouldn’t care less but I understand the sentiment from charsters, i mean it’s probably gonna be her last pop album in a long time since we know she’s ready to build her family so we also want her to have a moment with the numbers as well especially after listening from others calling her a flop for so many years now. so with that said let’s be real, It would be just like a slap in their faces for some and just a cherry on the cake for others, that’s the reality of it lol
Decodekid 28,157
We’ll be fine, my biggest concern is Rita releasing on March tbh Long Live Gretchen
Chromanne 1,390
If Interscope is logical, they will really aim for two #1 albums so they will try not to release both of them in the same week. But I think Interscope cannot be trusted when it comes to promoting Gaga. I won't be surprised if they are ready to push Gaga under the bus by letting Playboi carti to release his album and promote him. If both the albums are released on March 7th, it's very challenging for Gaga to get #1 album considering his recent success and streams. If this happens, be prepared, don't meltdown, even The Fame had a #2 peak, Mayhem can still become a successful album like Billie's Hit Me Hard and Soft. Another issue, there is a chance that his songs from the new album will occupy many positions in Top 10, decreasing the chances of Abracadabra's expected higher peak during Mayhem's release week. If this happens, remember Always Remember Us This Way and manifest for the longevity of Abracadabra Edited February 19 by Chromanne
